Description: This is a Silver coloured cased pendant napkin clip made from a SIXPENCE coin. The earliest is from 1947, latest from 1967. There a 3 versions available. Photo 2 - King George VI -1947 & 1948. Photo 3 - King George VI - 1949 to 1951. Photo 4 - Queen Elizabeth II - 1953 to 1967. From 1947 to 1951 they carry the Crowned Royal Cypher of King George VI. From 1953 to 1967 they have the UK's national emblems of Rose, Thistle, Shamrock & Leek. All my coins have been in circulation so may show some minor imperfections but they are in very good condition with fine detail. They are highly polished to a mirror finish and then lacquered to prevent tarnishing. The clip has a brushed steel finish, 55 mm long with a firm grip. Suitable for cloth or paper napkins. The case is Silver plated with a an engraved spiral detail on the rear and a diameter of 22 mm. Total length is 90 mm. The photos are for display purposes only so may not show your chosen year.
