An onlooker would not likely mistake them for new shoes because they do not look the part. They look like shoes that have seen prior service. This opinion is based on their overall appearance as opposed to any particular flaw(s). That said, they are totally problem-free and just show honest wear. Close examination reveals that all surfaces are clean with no flaws or blemishes. From a macro perspective, though, they do not have the fresh-out-of-the-box new look but rather a nice pre-owned look. There are some edges/fringes on the uppers that show some friction as would be expected. The insides are also clean and the wear on the bottoms is mild to moderate. Overall these shoes are nice looking, acceptable, and have a good amount of life ahead of them. The predominate color of the uppers is true black. There is red and blue in the mix as well. The laces are not the traditional kind that must be tied but rather stretch laces which keep a mild but constant tension. The primary way that the shoes are held securely to the feet of the wearer is by the top strap on each with their mating surfaces. Original padded insoles inside. Loops on the backs for carrying/hanging. Very lightweight. The size is youth ten which will likely be worn by a child at the tail end of or just out of the toddler stage.
