Description: This is for a Chuck of Glass Cullet. I currently have 4 up for auction right now so see the other 3 listed.Beautiful vibrant shade of a Dark Red marbled color glass with a layer of vaseline custard uranium glass on one side. Some of the red glows from cadmium or selenium. The custard layer glows bright with uranium. It has natural fracture lines all over and exposed bubble holes from cooling air bubbles.. I do not see debris or other materials stuck in it. Feels like a nice chunk of solid glass. This is one of 4 pieces from a Marble collectors collection. The box had a hand written note that they were found at the "W V Clarksburg Dumpsite, Akro". The collector had everything from rare marbles, a complete library of materials, and other special artifacts such as these. I cannot positively verify where he got them or how, but the collector felt they came from that Dumpsite according to his very old & faded hand written note.Measures: approximately 4-3/4" by 2-1/4'' by 2" with a ruler in different directions. Condition: This is a huge chunk of slag glass. I will wrap very well to prevent damage or breakage during shipment. However you should always be careful of microscopic shards when unwrapping due to the nature of glass cullet chunks. I would unwrap over a sink, rinse with water and set on a towel to air dry.
