The bottle is Automatic Bottle Machine manufacture style (ABM) with cork top finish. A 3 ½” tall, clear glass, rectangular little bottle, having three indented panels, embossed on sides “Gebhardt Eagle/Chili Powder”, on back an eagle inside a wreath and “Trade Mark. Front contains original red white and green label, reading “Gebhardt’s/Eagle/Chili Powder/ A Condiment/ Necessary/ For Making/Chili Con Carne/ and for Flavoring/ all Meats, Sauces, Stews, Beans Etc./ Manufactured and Guaranteed by/ Gebhardt Chili Powder Co./ San Antonio, Texas”. Jar contains the original pressed metal cap, also in the green and cream colors and printed on top “Eagle Chili Powder”. Remains some of the Chili Powder to this day!
