Description: DESCRIPTION: Vintage, signed woodcut or linocut of Mission San Diego de Alcala in California. It is signed "EM" in the lower right corner, but I have not been able to identify the artist. I believe that is a statue of Father Junipero Serra on the right under the banana plant. It is done in two colors (slate blue and black) on white paper. The print is framed under glass in a gilt wood frame. Overall size with frame is 4 3/4" by 6 3/4". Based on the style of the frame, I would guess this dates to the 1930s or 40s. Both print and frame are in very good condition.
