This monitor can be mounted away from the residents bed, removing in room alarm noise. This is a one-to-one monitor that is used with a sensor pad; typically a bed pad. The monitor can be mounted in a convenient location for the caregiver up to 30 feet away from the sensor pad. The CordLess sensor pad gets placed under the resident. When the resident gets up and the pressure is removed from the pad, a wireless signal is sent to the monitor alarm alerting the caregiver. The alarm can then be reset by the caregiver by either switching the alarm off or applying pressure back onto the pad. The light that blinks on the monitor alerts the caregiver and the volume can be adjusted so that the ideal environment can be maintained while still effectively monitoring fall prevention and wandering.
