To the best of our knowledge, compatible models would include, but not be limited to: Models 637-2, 437-2, 337-3, 331-3, 36-10, 317-3, 60-14, 60-15, 351PD and 360PD... among others. For those who are cross-referencing/confirming compatibility, this particular Hammer Assembly originated from a well cared-for Model 637-2 revolver chambered in .38 Special +P. For those looking for a replacement Hammer Assembly for a Late/Current-Production Model J-Frame Revolver that DOES have an Internal Lock, this Hammer Assembly will work because there is a "Notch" that's recessed into the channel that exists in the upper side portion of the left side of the Hammer Body. This "notch", or cutout to the channel on the left side of this model accommodates the functional components of the lock in the revolver to engage. For those who need a Hammer Assembly for a Late/Current-Production Model J-Frame revolver that DOES NOT have the internal lock, TO THE BEST OF OUR KNOWLEDGE, this Hammer Assembly CAN be installed - its just that the "Notch" that's in the recessed channel would not be used because the revolver doesn't have the lock components that would turn in and out of that Notch.
