Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Circa 1910 parade drum with a brass shell, metal leg rest and matching drum sticks. 6"x12", similar in design to the Prussian infantry snare drums. New calf-skin heads were added, but are not tight enough to play. Drum is currently for historic display. Simple ‘period’ wire snares were added. The steel tension rods, wood tension collars and the snare strainer control lever all work well, no corrosion. Everything is fixable. Drum handed down thru my family and cared for along the way.
