Description: Offering an ultra rare copy of the original Italian VHS release of the horror film QUALCOSA STRISCIA NEL BUIO (released in America as SOMETHING CREEPING IN THE DARK). The film was originally released in 1971 and is a dark, bizarre occult giallo thriller. This is the first NTSC VHS printing from General Video Recording. This is an incredibly rare find for any horror VHS collector - I don’t imagine many original boxed copies of this early release have survived the passage of time. And this particular copy has a video rental store history - it still has a video store security sticker on it from its original North America home: GIOIA VIDEO, once located at 664 B East 187th St. in the Belmont neighborhood of The Bronx, New York City. The copy is in excellent shape, especially considering its age. The original plastic black clamshell case is solid, without cracks, discoloration, or warping. The clear plastic cover sleeve shows some natural wear & scuffing, but still looks good. The paper artwork insert is unfaded and without rips, tears, or creases. The cassette is in great condition, with no markings, cracks, or warping. The internal magnetic ribbon looks good, with no fraying. Video store sticker is attached to front edge of videotape.
