Description: SONY, TR-817, Transistor, Radio, AM, Super Sensitive 8 Transistors, For Parts or Repair This is a Sony TR-817 transistor radio. It is for parts or repair. The circuit board appears to be floating around. I had to jiggle it to get it lined up enough to power it on. I left it powered on. It works but the volume is low on it. The battery door is super hard to get open. So I left it open. The battery connection is poor. It looks like the terminals tabs are bent in. Right now the battery has to be pushed against the terminals. The grill is a little bent. It has scratches and scuffs on it. The leather case is in poor condition and one of the snaps doesn’t want to stay snapped. See photos for any defects. Thanks for looking and feel free to ask Any questions.
