This tool from Alisam Engineering is a reproduction* of South Bend Lathe Works cutter bit grinding block not in production for many years! Each grinding block will come with all 5 square tool bit holders! Tool holders come in 5 different sizes, 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8 and 1/2 inch to fit most quality, ground, square modern tool bits, (using the 3/16" tool holder and drilling the appropriate sized hole, round tool bits may also be ground). Now available in very limited supply, a "blank" tool holder (purchased separately NOT included with this set unless exchanged for one of the other sized tool holders). Purchaser must bore a hole to the specs they desire. No returns on "blank" holders unless unaltered. Blank tool holder also sold separately in another listing. (*We have increased the capacity of the tool holders by adding the 1/2 inch square tool bit size which was not available from SBL, in doing so we increased the overall size of the block and the diameter of the tool holders by about .19 inch.
