Description: The February 14, 1777 issue was small with only $20 and $30 bills produced. The front of this note is typeset with interesting engraved borders and a beautiful emblem featuring a man with a pack appearing to be exploring. The emblem is encircled by the latin motto “MISERA SERVITUS OMNIS” (All servitude is wreched). The reverse is quite plain with ornamental borders and a Death to Counterfeit motto in the center. Very attractive problem free example with bold ink throughout and large signatures. Incredibly clean appearance, possibly under-graded. Signers: William Logan, Samuel Legare, R.W.
