Description: Space Shuttle Leg Rest Assembly manufactured by Boeing. It was strapped to the leg of astronauts during launch and landing. Velcro squares allowed an ascent checklist to be secured in place. No flight history available but likely unflown. Stiff, flat, thick blue cloth with adjustable straps and clasps. On the front is a label printed, "Leg Rest Assembly, P/N NASA Part # SED39127297.701 S/N 2021". On the back, there are attached 6 velcro pieces all of the same size.
