The photo is for informational purposes only.English description: This large, scarce and very detailed wallmap of the entire Iberian peninsula, including the Balearic Islands, was published by Reinier (1698 - 1750) & Joshua Ottens (1704 - 1765) in 1740, based on an older version by Luggert van Anse (published around 1690). It is a genuine copper engraved map in original colors, printed on four separate sheets, which can be joined to form a huge wallmap. Each map measures approximately 50 x 60 cm (plate size). The combined map measures approximately 91 x 116 cm (platesize) as some margin areas and two of the four titles are no longer visible when combined. All sheets are in very good condition. The map is further enriched by an elaborate title cartouche in French and Dutch, a coat of arms and six compass roses. It derives from an edition of the "Atlas minor sive geographia compendiosa".
