Description: Really wonderful large heart shaped brooch, crafted by Native Americans employed at Christopher’s enterprises, hallmarked, and dated 1991. Marked Sterling. This has a wonderful natural (presumably stabilized) large piece of turquoise and a fine bezel. As pictured, excellent condition. Nice rich patina. Christopher’s Enterprises employed more than 30 leading Native American silversmiths, including multiple members of the Lovato and Coriz families. They made jewelry for Saks Fifth Avenue and others.
