According to Wikipedia Jones was an "American musician, bandleader and conductor specializing in spoof arrangements of popular songs and classical music." Also, Jones is probably most known for "All I Want for Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth", with a piping vocal by George Rock, which was a number-one hit in 1948. A friend of mine's mother got the photo at a Spike Jones show in the late 40s.
