Description: Heavy Duty Morning Star Spiked MACE This is a one-off unique item hand made in the UK. It is a seriously heavy piece with a 12mm (1/2") mild steel shaft, solid forged steel ball and hardened steel 8mm diameter blunt spikes. The handle is double pinned through the shaft and glued, and the pommel is brass, threaded onto the shaft and also pinned through for total security. Due to the weight this is best suited to powerful individual and the handle has been made slightly larger to accommodate a larger hand!Spikes are blunt to prevent them getting stuck in anything they may contact, and the guard offers both protection for the hand as well as a steel flat to punch with. You can also stab forward using the pointed tip or hit down with the sharpened pommel. NOTE: Maces are designed to be used on things softer than themselves (armour, helmets, shields etc) and NOT for use against hard objects like trees, walls etc. If you use a mace on something too solid you will damage it!
