Used at weddings (a few years back) to store a piece of wedding cake for the bride and groom. Now it is used mostly as a candy dish. Made so you can put the lid as a base and put the bowl on top of it which saves from taking the lid on and off to get candy. All edges are smoothe. Cute piece to use or display.
