Description: Stained Glass, Vintage St. Peter's Church Toronto Stained Glass Company, Canada DescriptionThis is a large vintage stained glass created by the now out-of-production Toronto Stained Glass Company of Canada as a reproduction of Louis C. Tiffany. The original work is a MEMORIAL WINDOW made by Tiffany Studios in 1906 at Saint Peter's Church, a historic building built in 1838 in Manhattan, New York City. (A photo of the actual work is also attached at the end.) The flat glass is colored with transparent enamel painting, has an undulating surface, and the frame is made of metal. It is handmade and has been fired, so it will not fade even over time. The right edge of the frame says Detail Livingston Memorial Window, St peter's episcopal church, New York City c 1906 Tiffany Studios, and the left edge says Made in /fait au Canada (C)1996, Canada Stained Glass. When held up to the light, this stained glass is surprisingly beautiful, with elegant colors and presence. This piece has a hook and chain at the top for hanging on the wall, so it can be used for a variety of purposes.
