They are manufactured by McMurdo in England, and these examples have 'in-line' cable entry and are being offered as one lot. The plugs fit a standard International Octal socket or valve base. These plugs were extensively used on many pieces of both professional and amateur equipment during the 1950s, 1960s & 1970s, including the Leak valve Hi-Fi amplifiers, other high quality power amplifiers, Eddystone receivers, test equipment, public address amplifiers and studio audio equipment. Although once common-place these are now becoming more difficult to find. These are in clean, used condition, which with the description can better be judged from the photographs and are of the actual plugs on offer for sale. They have been priced to sell, without reserve.
