Absolutely darling illustrations by FERD SONDERN. Ferd was born in 1923 and immigrated to the US from Germany. His illustrations and cartoons have been featured in early Sesame Street books (1972) and he branched out to greeting cards and books, including Pinocchio illustrations.He turned 99 in 2022 and was still quite active on FB. I was mesmerized by his entries on FB, reminiscing of days in his childhood. There are some cute poems he penned also. Very neat. I’m not sure if he is still alive. I did not find anything in my research. If you’re a collector of vintage stationery, then you will enjoy these! They are from my personal collection of 40 years.
