Thus it would delight fans of the group when, in 2009, it was announced that the mighty Dan were to bring their Rent Party Tour to venues in Europe and America, alternating between standard one-date concerts at large venues and multi-night theater shows that featured performances of The Royal Scam, Aja, or Gaucho in their entirety on certain nights. One such night took place on 22nd July, 2009, at The Wang Theater in Boston, which featured Aja and The Royal Scam, with a few choice covers throw into the mix for good measure. Performing an extraordinary show that night, the whole affair, which ran to more than 2 hours in length, was also recorded for live FM Broadcast, and transmitted around the greater Boston area, but since the day in question this legendary concert has been heard by few.
