Description: Offered for sale is an uncommon stereoview boxed set by Underwood & Underwood entitled "A Trip Around the World."It includes 73 stereoviews which appear to be a complete set, although the numbering is a bit strange. It is missing numbers 36 and 56. But includes numbers 26 1/2, 45 1/2 , and extra 46, & 48 1/2.This was apparently by design. Early Underwood sets were sometimes a sort of hodge-podge of views depending what was in stock.This set dates to 1897. It also includes the rare pamphlet that came with the original set that is so often missing.The box is in good to very good condition (see scans) and the views themselves are in very good condition or better.Glare caused by lighting.
