Description: A Long sterling silver Victorian Butter Curler Knife by James Deakin & Sons Birmingham 1881. Measures just over 7 inches in length. Nice clear hallmarks to the plain blade at the rear. The front is also plain but the edges are scalloped. The blade connects to the handle with a lovely ornate section of silver. The bone handle has a split but it is still well connected to the blade. Scuffs and marks from use to the silver blade along with an area of damage in the centre of the blade. There are three black dots which have been pushed into it and then produced a small raised area on the rear of the blade. Please see images. REF: CSC 1308
