Description: These are custom dogs or spikes skeletonized for the MS660 066 chain saw and they work great. Some times guys think they could be put on the MS460 but the outside one would not line up it would be 5/16" off. The MS660 066 uses a larger clutch and the mounting studs for the bar and are moved forward this set of spikes only works on the MS660 066 saw. We have a custom dog made for the MS460 that fits that saw perfect. These dogs were made in Elkhart, Indiana U.S.A. out of 1008 carbon steel they are 0.10" thick and they have not been coated so paint them to prevent rust or keep the oil coming. I also make a 0.125" aluminum 6061 harden and very strong these dogs are very light and don't need to be painted. The saw in the photo has the 1008 steel dogs on it.
