Description: This is a pre-Estate Fresh old Oil on Board painting of the South New Jersey Coast. It is a painting entitled "STORM WARNING" - S. JERSEY ca1945 a COASTAL Oil on BOARD PAINTING by DONALD W. PATRICK of COLUMBUS OHIO. Patrick painted in his free time and he got pretty good. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and a graduate from RIT. He painted things he saw that resonated with him. I have 2 other paintings of his listing soon if not already. This painting is really quite interesting as anyone not familiar with coastal Storm warnings, this was one way to warn Ships and People in the area of the impending Storm. The artist information comes from the Artists son, who I bought the paintings from. Framed this piece is 14"x15" wide.
