This is a nice thick, lustrous, bright orange-red Crocoite crystal from the classic Red Lead Mine in Tasmania, Australia mined decades ago! It is a vibrant, translucent red-orange with areas along the edges that are more transparent. This fat Crocoite crystal is partially terminated, striated and has patches of a charcoal gray manganese oxide for contrast. It is mounted on a black acrylic base. from one of the most recognized localities in the world for the species!
