This cylinder is NOT made by Structo.Made from all brand new parts. Is your dump truck dangerous? Does the load raise too quickly or immediately? This condition is very dangerous. If you lift it and it hits you, it could cut your face. No telling what it could do to a child (grandchild). I have read some of the listings and these trucks are dangerous!!! If you do not buy this product, you should MOST certainly DISCONNECT the cylinder so no one gets hurt! Teach your kids to never stand over the load when releasing the dumper. This mechanism works just slightly faster than the stock unit, but nothing dangerous. It will not lift a full wet load of sand, but will lift a dry load of sand. So there is a limitation of a sort.I have tested these products and found them to be of good reliable quality. All you need is in the bag, including new cotter pins. Turn your old truck into a working truck! What a delight when you watch it work!After selling a few of these I have now had a complaint. At one end of this unit I have had to hand grind it for fit. Check the last picture carefully. You will see that you must bend the tabs under the bed to install this unit. This being said ; I looked and looked for the best unit for this application and could not find anything that came close to doing the job. Remember this is not a machine made unit and does show slight signs of the hand grinding done on it. I built it because I wanted to fix my own truck and then thought others would enjoy a chance to do the same. I spend about an hour on each of these prepping them for service. The other folks that bought the kit liked it.
