One of several Meissen figures I will be listing tonight An exceptional work by MEISSEN. Polychromed and gold gilt. Well-marked, with crossed swords in blue ink. Hand-scratched number appears to read: G20. Impressed numeral "6." Also hand-numbered "2" in gold. Base measures 5 7/8" wide. Stands 7 3/8" tall. Displays beautifully, and nearly MINT, as shown. There is one very very tiny 1/16" flake to top edge of base, on back side of figure. (see close-up photo, second from bottom.) No other issues noted. No chips, nicks, cracks, hairlines, crazing, stains, or repairs. GUARANTEED TO BE ANTIQUE and NOT A MODERN REPRODUCTION.
