Description: Description: A stunning English Victorian solid sterling silver cigar case, having a rectangular shaped body which is beautifully decorated with all over decoration of flowers, scrolls and patterns, with a lovely curved shaped body and is fitted with a push release hinged lid. The cartouche to the centre of the body is engraved with an inscription. The body and lid are hallmarked with excellent clear and very readable English solid sterling silver hallmarks. It's an excellent original example, which is of an excellent size and weighs 121 grams of solid sterling silver. A beautiful example which is in excellent clean condition for its 160 years of age. Would make an excellent addition to a collection. A fine example. The borders are perfectly in shape as they should be with no dents. The over all hand engraved decoration is in excellent clean condition with no polishing or wear issues. The hinged lid opens and closes perfectly well as it should with no problems. The interior is in clean condition with no nasty wear marks. The English solid sterling silver hallmarks are in excellent very readable condition with no wear. A stunning clean and lovely object which is a superb addition to your collection.
