Description: Very Rare - Vintage 1950’s Equestrian Themed Self-Starting Electric Horse Clock & TV Lamp with Tiered Metal Shade #T3 by The Lanshire Clock Company of Chicago, U.S.A. in excellent working Condition with tags.The tag says that it is Fine Translucent China hand painted with 22 Karat GoldA fabulous, combination electric clock and mid-century TV lamp, made of glazed fine bone china with painted metallic gold accents / embellishments that has amazing color and intricate detailing throughout. It features a beautiful galloping horse, proudly saddled up, with a brass chain in his mouth, a small circular planter on the base in front of it and a working clock directly beneath it surrounded by an upturned horseshoe. The clock has a domed (convex) acrylic face framed by a polished Brass bezel, a cream and gold interior with star / flower center design, black roman numerals with gold minute markers in between, solid black hour & minute hands, and a thin gold second hand. The rear exterior shows the metal clock back. Both lamp and clock work as expected, and the clock kept accurate time when tested. The cord is in excellent shape.The original art-décor, venetian style tiered lamp shade is made of light goldcolored metal and hangs on small Brass metal ball chains attached at each corner. The shade is made of 2" wide slats in graduating sizes and collapsible flat when taken off.
