Description: Any discerning collectors will see the opportunity presented here in this lot. A gathering of 2 different versions of Styx Man of Miracles released the same year (1974) on Wooden Nickel label. Both are radio station copies. Version 1: is the ultra rare 1st run copy with lyrics stanza beneath each track listing on the back cover except for "Lies". Legend has it that less than a hundred of these were pressed and mostly given out as promos. Wooden Nickel would shortly re-issue the album for general distribution with the song "Lies" replaced by "Best Thing". most fans don't even know about this change. Version 2: is the re-issue with "Best Thing". As you can see everything remains the same except "Lies" is gone, replaced by "Best Thing". Reason for the change is not publicly known but some believe there might have been contractual issues over use of the song "Lies" which was a cover.
