The ninth plate ambrotype has excellent contrast, tonal range and superb sharpness for a image of a kitten. A nice hint of warm toned color was applied to her face. There are some soft wipes on the plate that are hard to see unless magnified. The case has some normal wear, but hinge remains intact as well as the latch system.
