Description: A superb antique original 1890's white linen afternoon tea dress. Both the bodice and skirt have open cut work designs along with white embroidered flowers. The bodice has a high neck net lace insert. The lower part of the sleeves are made of net lace and trimmed with Irish lace. It is lined with white cotton and the lining has a front hook and eye closure. The lien fabric has a button closure. The skirt is unlined. The dress is in very good condition. There are no holes and no underarm discoloration. There is one tiny age spot on the top of one sleeve and a tiny spot on the inside lining. The two piece dress is a generous size.
