Suzy PlayPal 28" Ideal, Original Dress, Pink Shoes; + Vintage Pink Smocked Dress

Description: 1959/60 Ideal Suzy PlayPal Doll 28” with strawberry blonde curly hair. This Suzy is a vintage PlayPal Doll, little sister to Peter, Patti and Penny PlayPal and older sister to Johnny and Bonnie PlayPal.Suzy is wearing her original white dress and pink panties, and her original pink flocked shoes that are rare to find. Included are a vintage 1950s slip, white socks with a pink rose motif, plus a second pink dress. This vintage 1950s pink smocked dress has imperfections due to age and wear in the back, such as worn seams at the bottom of the back button placket and a tiny hole as shown in the picture. No repairs have been attempted and these are being sold as is. Overall, these 1950’s vintage baby clothes are in very good condition. This Suzy PlayPal doll has:- Clear blue sleep eyes that work well. Eyelashes are full and original.- Face coloring, cheeks, and lips are bright and original.- Saran hair, strawberry blonde (I believe although I am not an expert). Thick curly hair has original set and original pink ribbon. The hair roots are full with no missing plugs.- Clean body, with some tiny spots; the pictures are the best description. There is a light smudge on one cheek, a small dot near one eye and another small spot on her chest.- Back of head is marked IDEAL DOLL OB 28-5.- Original stringing. Head is tight on neck, and can be turned side to side. Arms hold next to body, yet will not stay raised for long. Legs also hold next to body and one leg will stay slightly raised. One small crack at top of other leg. She sits well, as the Suzy dolls were designed to do as a 1-year-old child. This Suzy PlayPal doll has lived in only my childhood home and my adult home in a temperature-controlled, smoke-free room, and never stored in the attic, basement or garage.
