Description: This ceramic dish was created and designed by ALP ( AB Lidkopings Porslinsfabrik) in Sweden. Stockholm City Hall is depicted in the centre of this piece. A crackle style glaze is used with gold coloured paint applied to the rim. This piece is 18 cm. (7.25") in diameter and weighs 395 gm (13.8 oz) The identifying marks on the bottom are ALP with three stars Lidkoping Made in Sweden. The marks indicate this dish was produced in the 1930s or early 1940s as Rorstrand's marks were included after these dates. This ALP dish is in very good vintage condition.
