Description: The Switzerland 20 Francs Banknote is part of the 9th Series Issues released by the Swiss National Bank in 2016. The red banknote bears French, German, Italian, and Romansch texts. Its obverse features the Swiss cross, a human holding a prism through which light is dispersed into various colors, a light motif over a globe in purple SPARK, and a kaleidoscopic pattern in the underprint. The reverse of the banknote is in a vertical orientation and depicts butterflies in flight, a light projected on a screen at a film festival, and a human eye iris lines in the underprint. It contains a holographic security stripe with 20, night-time light emissions on a map of Switzerland and distances (in light seconds) between celestial bodies and the earth. It also bears a windowed security thread with a demetallized Swiss flag and 20, and a watermark that reveals the Swiss flag and a globe. The banknote measures 130 mm x 70 mm and is signed by Swiss National Bank President Jean Studer and bank Director Andrea Maechler. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
