Syracuse China Wild Rose Railroad China Econo Rim Green Rim

Description: This is a lot of six 10-in dinner plates. Made by Syracuse China. It is railroad China. Wild rose pattern with the green trim one of the plates is the econo rim stamp on the back. However they are all identical. Made by the same company just at different times. The codes on the back of each stamp on each plate represent the month and the year of when they were manufactured . As far as my research goes these plates were manufactured in the Fayette Street plant or the Court Street plant. Onondaga history association, is where I got the date codes from. Syracuse China used to be Onondaga back in the 1800s. Syracuse China made the railroad China from 1946 to 1962 and were used on railroad cars in the fine dining cars. Two plates with the numbers 3gg on the back were made in March of 1952, two of the plates with IGG on the back were made in January 1952, one plate with the stamp FF on the back with a three or a five in front of it was made in March or may of 1951 finally the econo rim trademark stamp on the back of one plate with 10 CC number on the back was made in October of 1948 that one is the oldest plate out of the bunch they all have the same color the same green rim the same pink rose. They are identical except for the stamps on the back. There are no chips and no cracks on any of these plates they just have normal wear. They are in excellent condition considering their age and they are coming to you from my non-smoking home. This box will be over 10 lbs and I am shipping it with priority Mail.
