Bavaria Germany Demitasse Cups & Saucers Design Set 5 Pearlescent w/Platinum Exquisite Decorative Set of 5 DEMITASSE ESPRESSO CUPS & SAUCERS from Bavaria, Germany, ART DECO w/PLATINUM Trim on Rims, Handles, & Outlining DESCRIPTION: The beautiful set was decorated using the pearlescent color palette on high white with strong platinum. The trim on the rim is a band of platinum and the handles are also trimmed in a bold solid platinum. The hand painted pattern is very classic. The saucers have the same pattern as well as a platinum trim line on the verge of the saucers. The art deco design of pearlescent panels on the cups is outlined in platinum. CONDITION: While this set is classified as used, the condition is excellent with two exceptions. One cup has a tiny, flat flake at the rim opposite the handle. Another cup has a slight roughness on the rim also opposite the handle. Otherwise, there are no chips, nicks, cracks, rubbings, scratches, crazing or hairlines. There is no wear to the platinum. See the photos. DIMENSIONS: The cups have a diameter of 2 1/2" and a height of 2 1/8". The scalloped saucers have a diameter of 4 3/16" and a height of 3/4". HISTORY/MARKS: These carry the bottom stamp of T. Bavaria Germany Design in an oval. Please view all pictures carefully as they are part of the description.
