Octavo, 39pp. First issue text (with edition statement), in the first issue dust jacket (with nine titles on rear panel). This copy seemingly bound without the half-title (?). Otherwise a nearly very good copy in the publisher's black cloth, with offsetting to the front endleaves from old laid-in news clippings, now absent (this toning has bled through just slightly to the title page, as well, which seems to underscore that the half-title was either never present). Small inked owner's name (Virginia Huntington) to the front free endpaper. Dust jacket very good, toned as usual on the spine, with shallow chips to the spine ends, a dime-sized chip at the top of the rear panel, and a 2-inch closed tear at the top of the front panel. Some neat Braille-like raised bumps on the rear panel, as well. Our efforts to transliterate the markings got us as far as "Elliot" [sic]. Among Eliot's scarcest books, this wartime publication was quickly recalled and destroyed due to the poor quality of the printing (the left margins are distractingly thin throughout).
