Description: An economical 72" carbon steel raker blade for smooth cutting. Raker blades are the most common type of bandsaw blade, have regularly spaced teeth, and are known for general-purpose cutting. They perform best cutting thin materials, leaving a fine finish. The orientation of the raker blade has one tooth going to the left, one to the right, followed by a straight tooth with the pattern repeating. Width is an important factor when considering a new blade. The typical range is as small as 1/8" wide to 3/4" wide. This 3/8" wide blade is good for contour sawing with a minimum radius of 1-1/2". For resaw cutting, you will want to fit the widest blade available for your machine. Typically, there are more teeth per inch for narrower blades compared to wider blades.
