Description: From Taillandier pottery in France this set includes a cache pot and a lug handle bowl, featuring Breton figures of a man and a woman in regional dress. They are hand-painted, pictured in a country landscape with colorful trees and flowers. The cache pot has a man on one side and a woman on the other, along with decorative bands at top and bottom with leaves and flowers. The lug handle bowl features a Breton man sitting beneath an apple tree on the inside and French provincial floral banding on the exterior. The Taillandier mark is hand-painted on the bottom and the France mark appears to be hand-stamped. It is notable that the artist, Taillandier once worked at the Quimper. The condition of both pieces is excellent. Cache Pot: 5-3/4" tall x 5-1/4" diameterLug Handle Bowl: 6" across at the handles x 3" tall
