It is decorated with an abundance of colorful holly leaves & berries with gold accents. It stands 12 1/4 inches tall. The candlestick is made in the ages old Indian lacquerware tradition. Entirely handmade, & skillfully painted, this candlestick is an outstanding example of the art form. Fun fact: The lac bug creates lacquer, which is a natural resin. As a natural product, the lacquer has darkened here & there over time. The candlestick has a brass cup that fits a standard 7/8 inch wide standard taper candle.
