Description: My wife bought this Tamron A011 SP 150-600mm Lens from ebay for her Canon EOS 7D. many years ago. She used it very little because it is heavy. It fell out of a car, stopped working and had to be professionally repaired through Mike's Camera in Boulder, CO for $300. She got it back, tested and it seemed to work so put it away for a few years. But then with the next real use, we discovered that the autofocus is not working correctly. It can focus in to something all the way to the left of 2.7. But it gets stuck and cannot focus back out unless you manually turn it to infinity and then autofocus into your subject. It seems like the motor only goes one direction. So this lens is sold as Broken, As Is, in need of repair. It is optically good. It is usable if you just manually pre focus to infinity... but can't track moving animals properly which is what my wife used it for. It manually focuses without problems. Outside condition is clean and flawless except for a small white mark on the tripod bracket. Includes Hood, lens caps, tripod mount bracket and B-W 95mm UV filter.
