Once engaged, his +2 Broadsword adds 2 dice to his attack and in addition to the target of your attack, you may choose a squad figure that is also adjacent to Tandros - if your target receives any wounds, the chosen squad figure also receives a wound. His Combat Challenge special ability can really come in handy in protecting key figures in your army as it requires any figure adjacent to Tandros to attack him if using a normal or special attack.
