Tara at Home Cashmere White Wavelength 1 2 & 3 Qt Nesting Bowl Set No Covers

Description: This set of ceramic bowls are by "Tara at Home"- the same Tara of "Temptations." These "Wavelength" nesting bowls in Cashmere White are currently (as I write this) sold out at QVC. These bowls are all white with a cool textured ripple or wave design, reminiscent of ripples in the sand at the beach. They would be perfect for you coastal or nautical decor. These nesting bowls come in 3 sizes: 1 quart, 2 quarts, and 3 quarts. Please see photos for their measurements. They are quite heavy. The 1 qt. bowl weighs over 1.5 pounds, the 2 qt. bowl weighs over 2.5 pounds, and the 4 qt. bowls weighs just over 4 pounds! The bottoms are marked "Tara at Home, Wavelength" along with other information-see photo of bottom. Two of them still have the sticker on them indicating that they are certified hand-painted and hand-crafted. These do not come with the original storage covers. I do not have the original packaging. The condition is used. Please read this part carefully! None of the bowls have chips or cracks. In general, they are in good condition. However, I noticed something on all 3 bowls. They each have some kind of line that goes vertically from the top rim to the bottom. Each one has 2-3 of these lines. The lines, in order to describe them, resemble light pencil marks. However, I couldn't get them off. I do not believe they are cracks at all. Maybe they are some kind of manufacturing flaw? I really have no idea. The last 3 photos show what these lines look like. They do not affect the functionality of the bowls, and the lines are fairly light, so they don't look horrible. But if you are looking for perfect bowls, say as a gift, these may not suit. And as mentioned above, the storage covers that originally came with this set, are missing. Otherwise, they're still a really great set.
