While the WWII time there were produced only a quantity of 2500 pcs of these Tavannes chronograph watches and they all were made as a special tactical timepiece for the purposes of Romanian artillery of that time. Marked case-back as M.A.N S.S.A.U is a short that means Sub-department of the Army Ministry for Ground Troops.
