Description: Taylor 520e Used 2016 w/Gig case This is a 2016 Taylor 520e with Mahogany body and neck. This instrument has a dreadnought type body style, using Mahogany for the body and neck, and Ebony for the fingerboard. It uses a 24.9-inch scale, which is shorter than typical dreadnought-style guitars. The pickup uses Taylor's original pickup system Expression System 2. Although it is a pickup that uses piezo elements by arranging the sensor behind the bridge saddle, it naturally outputs the guitar's original sound without the harsh piezo smell that is common with conventional under-saddle piezo pickups. It has a distinctive sound. This machine does not appear to have been abused, other than weather checking of the paint due to aging and slight dents from normal use. The neck is in good condition and the truss rod has plenty of room in both forward and reverse warp directions. There is little wear on the frets and nuts, and the electrical system is in good condition.
