You might detect minor surface noise during quiet passages, or silence, but I didn't. No scratches or crackles or pops. You will see dust on the record in the photos. Impossible to keep it off while taking pictures (no matter how many times I wiped it )Notice the cutout, which I think means it was discontinued.....you might know better. And it looks like the original owner paid 97 cents for it. I was not able to find a publishing date. I believe you will not be disappointed in the quality if you like classical piano.There was no inner liner when I acquired this album, so I have included an after market inner liner.
