Description: This Technics SL-230 turntable is a vintage gem that works perfectly with a Shure 1000E cartridge. Made in Japan, this unit is a must-have for any vinyl enthusiast. Really nice turntable with features not found on many turntables like independent speed adjust for both 45 and 33 and repeat memory. Turntable is whisper quiet and works perfectly on both speeds as well as variable speed, memory, automatic features all work as designed. Sounds great of course. As you can see in pictures it's missing the small slider for cueing, strobe light needs replacing and will need a new belt ($8-$10). All you really need is the belt to operate Includes the often missing needle brush, 45 spacer original matt, plate and dust cover. Dust cover is in really nice clean condition. No issues with hinges or egregious scratches. Comes with a working sure 1000e cartridge and needle. Nice suspension system on this as well. All intact.
